Starring Sitka
Starring Sitka is based on the Starring Circles pattern featuring the Sitka Fabric in appliquéd windows. It is 60” square.
Hand Quilted Strawberries
Hand Quilted Strawberries is a piece from an appliqué class, which I hand quilted.This was a travel project, and I just kept adding quilting. It measures 18” square.
String of Pearls
String of Pearls is a project that I started in 1992 and finished in 2003. I’m happy that I waited, because my quilting skills progressed by leaps during the interim. It is 64” square.
Dresden Plate Mini
Dresden Plate Mini was made in 2003 for a mini auction for Ocean Wave Quilters Guild in Sitka. It is hand and machine pieced, and machine quilted, and measured 20” square.
Mariners Compass
Mariners Compass was a commission that I made in 2003. It features hand dyed fabrics, and is made from Brenda Henning’s book.
By the Bay
By the Bay celebrates the ocean, with twisted kelp and wavy borders.
